Writing in WordPress is getting more powerful. Ive used several page builders and many give a great experience and do a marvellous job.
However they all have several things in common, complexity, potentially a lock in to their product and possibly a significant overhead hit to site performance.
In recent months WordPress Core has provided much improved block editing (Gutenberg) that forms the basis of powerful WordPress editing capabilities not previously available. Many third party block plugin developers have used their significant skills to further improve this capability.
Among these now many plugins is Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks. This plugin adds several powerful and improved options for WordPress editors / developers. My favourites are improved block columns, tabs, and InfoBoxes. You’ll see these three blocks used significantly on this site. Kadence Editing Blocks seem to be light weight and powerful.
By all means look at the more powerful page builders on offer. But I suggest if you are starting then Kadence Blocks are a good place to commence.
